Radiant Dreams

When Whitney and I attended the Puyallup Sewing Expo, we found a bundle of some of these flannel fabrics.  She loved the colors as did I.  We then saw the Sew Radiant Quilts pattern at Quilt in a Day by Eleanor Burns.  Perfect!  She wanted white to go with and I added a couple more to make 4 different peaches and 3 different teals, plus the white.  I also found a flannel backing that was a color wash / water colored print with these colors - perfect!  The quilt is 49" square. I quilted each round differently, and used 5 different threads in the quilting.

Full quilt - it is off center with borders only on the right and bottom with the rounds extending into them.

Quilt back

Center

Center detail - feather wreath in the center, wavy lines in the white and loops and stars in the next round

Detail - Leaves in the medium peach and hearts and loops in the light;  flowers and loops in the darkest teal, spirals in the medium and loops in the lightest teal

Corner - no borders, bound in the darkest peach; all the white rounds have wavy lines.
